Isla Gigantes enroute to Boracay

It was Kisha bday.. A super unplanned escapade

With Kisha, rachelle and kishas niece.

With the rush search.. We got a round trip for 2k. And Mahal…. Wahahah yes am super kuripot and super tipid.

The most expensive trip I have made so far in the Philippines.

We missed our flight…

Super traffic sa c5 going to the airport. Super Malas. We had the rebook and paid the last minute flight fare, grabe sya.

Anyhow I got Kuya Joel’s number the owner of isla Gigantes hideaway. He took care of our Gigantes tour .

September 22

We arrived Kalibo airport, took a van to Iloilo and stayed a night at a hotel stay near the van terminal to Carles Port.

September 23

At 4am, we took the first van rid to caries port. It was a 4-6hrs butt aching ride.

At 9am. We got I touch with Kuya Joel who helped us with the isla Gigantes tour. He charged us about 5k for isla Gigantes tour.

We weren’t able to go to tangke island. Kase Sarado. ANg Malas NGA ehh… Mahal NGA… Sarado pa..

Sorry but our lunch was awful. Maybe Couz we didn’t know what it was. I just ate the fish.

We hurried back to the port.

September 24

Woke up at 5am to catch the first bus ride to Roxas city.

Had lunch at Robinson Roxas city. Then got on a van to Kalibo. On our way to Boracay

They have about more than 5pools I think. We only went to three pools. Hehehe

Had lunch sa tipid tipid area.. The forever Andoks Boracay. Hehehe

Then island hopping later on.

It cost us 1k for island hopping with free rental of snorkeling gears.

September 26.

Headed back to Kalibo airport to catch our 5pm flight back to Manila.

It was fun and expensiveeeeeee… Grabe sya. Don’t ask how much I spent. Nahighhigh blood Ako

Anyways thank God for the safe ride back home…

Dumaguete- Siquijor- Sipalay- Apo island -Cebu

I’m With an 800 roundtrip from mnl to dumaguete then Cebu to mnl. BONGGA!!!!

First stop was siquijor.

We took the first bus ride back to dumaguete which was at 5am.

Got off Dauin then to apo island.

It cost us about 300pesos each for a boat ride to apo island from Dauin port.

Btw no clean water in apo island. Lights are only on morning time .

You better be ready for survival of the fittest .. Lol

July 8 2016

As early as 4am we got up for our adventure with the sea turtle

There were so many tour guides around to help up. You just have to pay 200pesos.

After an hour smming with the turtle. We hurried back to our stay. To catch the 7am boat ride back to Dauin port. Then our way to Cebu..

From the sibulan port to liloan port Santander Cebu just an hour ride for 62 pesos.

We rode on a tricycle to Tanawan beach resort Oslob ..

We stayed a night there for 350pesos in our tent.

The stairs down to the resort was really really really really really tiring. But it had an amazing view.

With a little swimming. We dozed off. It was a safe place. With 24 hrs electricity and water.

The next morning . We prepared for our KAWASAN canyoneering adventure

Too bad Algeria was closed. We only conquered badlands for 750pesos

4am Taxi from Eastwood to Manila airport (300 pesos)

9am- departure

10am – Arrival at Mactan Cebu airport

11am- we went to travelers lounge Cebu at SM Cebu to deposit our bags for the Cebu city tour

(30 pesos per compartment, our bags fit into one and a half compartment so we paid 50pesos)

Taxi from airport to SM Cebu – 250pesos

12pm- we ate at CNT lechon near SM Cebu (lechonan)

The edge coaster was under renovation. Which was the main reason why we went to crown regency. It was 550pesos for one ride, 750 pesos for 2 rides and 1000pesos for 3rides. we decided not to take any ride at all. So we headed straight to Oslob Cebu

We stayed at chateau de Tanawan homestay owned by ate venny, she can be contacted via mobile phone number 09179127783, Her homestay is right infront of Tanawan elementary school, 5mins walking distance to whale shark debriefing. It was 350pesos per night stay without aircon, and 450pesosper night for a room with aircon. She was very accommodating. There was free wifi and free continental breakfast. We arrived around 10pm. She was able to assist us into her homestay…

29th May 2015

Ate venny had her friend Kuya Roger to assist us going to the Oslob whale shark watching.

As early as 6am after breakfast, we went to the Oslob whale shark watching. There was a bit a lot of people by then.

First was debriefing.

They taught that I was a foreigner… They wanted to get 1k from me.. Syempre I spoke Tagalog… Edi nanahimik silang lahat.. Hehe

At the entrance, we were offered a tour guide with 300pesos fee. We refused since we read in some blogs that it was very easy to get to Kawasan falls and we needed no tour guide.

We were ask to go canyoning.. But we refused coz we had plans already for osmena Peak in dalaguete. We won’t have enough time for canyoning.. So we told them prolly next time..

We made a huge mistake…. We were suppose to take a motorcycle from badian to dalaguete city which was much nearer for 500each. However we took a bus to carcar city for 78pesos each, A tricycle to dalaguete city 700pesos ( 235each ). Then from dalaguete bayan we took a motorcycle to the osmena peak. We hired 2motor.. The motorcycle charged us 400pesos each for going to osmena peak then back to Oslob… Anyways it was an hour from dalaguete bayan to osmena peak entrance… From osmena peak entrance it was about 30mins walk to the peak..

At 8am we went to Sumilon island

After 3hours of beach bumming.

We left sumilon island at 12pm..

Packed our stuff and headed back to Cebu city…

We wanted to stop by Simala church.

No shorts, sleeveless, slippers allowed.

We rented a scarf outside the monastery for 20pesos.

It looked like the convent in sound of music… Hehe

After a quick tour we headed to Cebu city.. It was about 3hrs bus ride to Cebu city…

We stayed at sugbutel hotel. Since we had no much time to search for a better hotel. It was a dorm type.

May 31st morning

We checked out early morning,went to travelers lounge Cebu city to drop our bags, paid 50pesos for storage..then we headed to crown regency..

We called crown regency and they informed us that the edge coaster was working. We were so excited.. However when we arrived there. They had a sign up that it was still under renovation… Napakamalas nohh super….. Then again Say NO to other rides….

Afterwards decided to go to Mactan shrine for little tour

Mctan shrine is about 30mins from Cebu city 200pesos to 250pesos taxi ride. For me it’s cheaper to buy some souvenir like shirt keychAins, decorations at mctan shrine than at Cebu city.. But buy food pasalubon at Cebu city.. Mas Mura.

At first we wanted to stay at sanctuary garden resort magdiwang, however the resort was far from the sanfernando port going to Roxas, itwas also far from cantingas river and cresta de gallo. So yea we decided to go straight to San Fernando sibuyan for the night stay….

Our boatman hired by the sea breeze resort charged us 500 per head …

So we paid 2000pesos, the four ladies decided to go…

The waves was so scary tho but we were all brave enough to conquer it even tho our pump boat was small.

They recommended that the best time to visit cresta de gallo was during summer March-may with less waves.

We were scared maybe the waves might get bigger during the night. So we decided to leave early.

It’s actually best to stay there overnight. But we weren’t prepared at all. We had no tent, nor flashlight nor water nor food. So yea …

When we got home, we were informed to take a short visit to cantingas river. It was a beautiful place.

Cantingas river was 15 mins drive from sea breeze resort. We paid 50pesos per head for the tricycle..I think it was abit too pricy. But it’s ok.

It was approaching night, was not able to take good shot. But the water was very very very cold from mount guiting guiting…..

After few minutes we decided to get back to the resort

It was a very stressful day…

But the adventures was all worth is.

Nature is beautiful, you can’t hesitate seeing.

After dinner, we were informed that the trip to Roxas city, our sea route to boracay. From Roxas to kalibo is an hr drive, kalibo to caticlan, caticlan to boracay island.. Pump boat schedule to Roxas city was at 7am and 9am every Monday.

We decided to get to bed early and wake up for the 7am schedule. It was 4hrs pumpboat ride to Roxas city.. It’s gon be another long a$$ sailing. Haha goodluck…

Am just so glad about the cresta de gallo trip. Which was so amazing…….

At the sea breeze inn we were given a room with aircon 300per head per night.

The room was nice tho With private bathrooms room. There was no tv tho. But I wasn’t worried about that because we didn’t stay long at the inn.

They said sometimes you would see Dolphins during this kind of trip. But we weren’t so lucky enough to see them.

We only saw lots of flying fishes aroud. It’s all good

A week in Bohol- family reunion

Family reunion in bohol.

My first time in bohol. My mum said she was from Jaro Leyte. I thought that my grand dad was from Leyte, however it turned out that it was my grand mum who from leyte and my granddad is from bohol. My mum seldom mentions about bohol, she said she has only been there once. I thank God of Facebook, I get to meet my mums cousin from bohol. The whole Cal family made an arrangement for Cal reunion. The reunion is gon be on January 25 2014. I used this opportunity to visit my lolo’s hometown. Hope it’s gone be fun.

We left Manila to cebu. Cebu to tubigon. Tubigon to Tagbilaran. We couldn’t find a cheap flight to Tagbilaran. The cheapest to Tagbilaran we found was 5000roundtrip. So we decided to take this route.

Bilar is considered as the coldest area in bohol. It’s called the little baguio of bohol. Bilar is about 30 mins drive to Carmen where the chocolate hills located.

Tito woke us up as early as 6am. We had a short ride to the chocolate hill. It’s so beautiful. 😄😃😀😊
